Global Design Project #217 - Colour Challenge

Jo's Stamping Spot - Global Design Project #GDP217

This week over at the Global Design Project they have a gorgeous colour combination I couldn't help but create and enter for! I can't believe it has been so long since I've done a Global Design Project challenge!

Jo's Stamping Spot - Global Design Project #GDP217

This is such a great combo to do a flowery card so I went with my current fave, Good Morning Magnolia!

Those who follow me know that I like to create my own backgrounds so I started with a simple piece of Whisper White cardstock cut with the Rectangle Stitched Dies and just created blocks of colour stripes with the light and dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends markers. My gorgeous flower was next but as I wanted it to have a different tone I decided to watercolour it with the three challenge colours.

Along with a vellum layer and some die cut leaves in Mossy Meadow the card came together with a little bit of retired ribbon, some pearls and the embossed sentiment. I hope you like it!
