Jo's Stamping Spot - ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

There is so much product to love being released in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue but the standout set to me was the gorgeous Signs of Santa and Santa's Signpost Framelits bundle. The images are so cute and as an added bonus you can cut images from the the coordinationg DSP using the framelits!

I'm not a classic red and green Christmas colour combo type of girl, I love using blue and greens for my Christmas cards since we never have white Christmases in Sydney. So for this card I started with a base of Night of Navy and simply stamped some small stars in the same colour from the set Wood Words. This went with my sponge brayered circle of night sky at the North Pole. I die cut the Santa and signpost and coloured them with Stampin' Blends. I added a small amount of Shimmery White Embossing Paste to the signpost to match the paste I put on the bottom of the die cut circle so that it looked like snow. I also heat embossed a little bit of retired Iridescent Ice embossing powder into the night sky on the die cut circle to look a lit like falling snow and a simple white-embossed sentiment direct onto the base finished the card.
