Just Add Ink #399 - Just Add Water

Jo's Stamping Spot - Just Add Ink Challenge #399

Another Friday has rolled around and this week at Just Add Ink we have a new challenge to 'Just Add Water'!

Jo's Stamping Spot - Just Add Ink Challenge #399

Jo's Stamping Spot - Just Add Ink Challenge #399

I don't own a lot of stamps along the subject line of water, in fact I think the only one I currently have is the itty bitty mermaid stamp in the new set Magical Day! So having a love of watercolouring my images I went along with that idea and coloured one of my all-time favourite stamps Birthday Blooms.

I've done a lot of cards with this gorgeous stamp (you can use the search function in the sidebar to find them) but never have I coloured it quite so bold! I'm trying to use more colours that I aren't my go-to's and I knew I wanted Tempting Turquoise for the background and Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves so I chose Rich Razzleberry as the main card and flower colour. I must say, I think I love it!
