Just Add Ink #462 - Sketch Challenge

Happy Friday and welcome to another new Just Add Ink Challenge. This week Kim has given us a sketch challenge to sink our teeth into!

Hmm, so many choices with this sketch! I could have used striped paper or done strips of colour but I decided to just wing it and see what came together!

I started with a rectangle of watercolor paper and randomly placed some washi tape of different sizes down the paper. Using my aqua painter I alternated applying Bermuda Bay ink and Coastal Cabana ink. Once dry I stamped over the lines in Coastal Cabana and Whisper White Craft ink. I used my new nested dies and the large 'HAPPY' along with the beautifully scripty 'birthday' from the Well Written dies for the main sentiment and completed the card using some retired Coastal Cabana embellishments. I kept it pretty simple so it could be used for a male or female.
