My gosh this year is flying, I can't believe we are at the end of March already! Another Friday has rolled around and that means new challenge time at Just Add Ink! This week we have a 'Choose Two' challenge suggested by Nikki.
I thought it would be very easy for this challenge to stick with foil and stencils as you could use these for just about anything. I decided to go with feathers and stencils so I would finally used the Bird Banter set we got at OnStage late last year!
Although I try to rotate what colours I use for my cards lately I've been finding I'm using Rich Razzleberry or Berry Burst with Tempting Turquoise! I promise my next challenge card will be different (well, slightly lol)!
I started by doing the watercolour square and once it was dry I did the masking using the cloud stencil from the Pattern Party mask set. Next I coloured the bird using Rich Razzleberry Blends along with Pink Pirouette and a Pumpkin Pie beak and she's holding a Pink Pirouette balloon. I used the little leaf stamp from the Bird Banter set to add some details to the base just stamped in Versamark (as most of the DT know I hate using colours on my photopolymer stamps that will stain lol) and finished it off with the little Happy Birthday stamp from the same set with clear embossing powder and the Classic Label Punch.
