Just Add Ink #311 - Masking Challenge

This card is for the masking challenge, this week's challenge at Just Add Ink.

I admit to being a bit slack of late as we have a new house member - golden retriever Maggie - and she has been taking up most of my time (and oh how in love we are with her)!

I could stare at her all day but back to the challenge! Using the stripes mask I sponged on 3 different colours - Blackberry Bliss at the bottom, Rich Razzleberry in the middle and Sweet Sugarplum towards the top. I finished it off with the ever-beautiful butterfly dies and some Wink of Stella and Glimmer Tape.

  1. Such an elegant card Jo! I love the ombre look in your stencilled background and your layered butterflies add such a beautiful highlight and touch of sparkle. Talking of sparkle, young Maggie looks totally adorable - and so cute to see her looking like she is about to fall asleep, so precious!! Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week :-)

    1. Aw thanks lovely! Yes, she is indeed delightful! She is 10 weeks today and really confined to the house until she has her 12 week needles. I could definitely bring her to the next class but she won't be this little for long, especially at the rate she devours food :)
